Make a sudoku book in seconds: pick the difficulty, how many puzzles and the page size, then print or save it as a PDF. Every puzzle is checked to have exactly one solution. No sign-up, nothing is uploaded.
A well-made sudoku has exactly one valid completion. If a puzzle has two or more, solvers can end up with a different grid than the answer key, which is frustrating in a printed book. This tool keeps a puzzle only after a solver has searched it and counted exactly one solution (the search stops as soon as it finds a second one).
Difficulty is set by how many clues remain and by which techniques are needed. Easy puzzles can be finished with naked singles only; Medium needs hidden singles as well; Hard leaves 24 to 28 clues and cannot be finished with singles alone.
The tool uses no bleed, so the page equals the trim size (6 x 9 in). KDP's public help page "Set Trim Size, Bleed, and Margins" lists these minimum inside (gutter) margins by page count: 0.375 in for 24-150 pages, 0.5 in for 151-300, 0.625 in for 301-500, 0.75 in for 501-700 and 0.875 in for 701-828; outside, top and bottom margins must be at least 0.25 in. This tool uses 0.5 in on all sides, raised on the inside edge for longer books. Pages are numbered as in a printed book, so the inside margin alternates sides.
Not verified: we have not uploaded a file generated here to KDP or run it through KDP's previewer. Always check your file in KDP's Print Previewer. KDP also requires at least 24 pages and its own content and AI-disclosure rules; read them before you publish.
Yes. There is no account and no limit beyond 100 puzzles per book. You can generate as many books as you like.
No. The puzzles are generated by JavaScript in your browser. The site has no cookies, trackers or external fonts. See the privacy page.
The puzzles are generated from your own settings and seed, and we do not claim rights over the output. Whether a book sells is another matter: the sudoku category is crowded and nothing here promises sales. Check the terms of the store where you publish.
It makes the book repeatable. Type the same seed with the same options and you get the same puzzles in the same order. Leave it empty for a random book; the seed used is shown so you can reproduce it.
Disable "Fit to page" or scaling in the print dialog and use "Save as PDF" rather than a physical printer. Chrome and Edge respect the page size set by the page; some browsers may not.
