PuzzleForge is a small free tool that generates printable sudoku books in your browser: unique-solution puzzles, three difficulty levels, optional solution pages, and page sizes of 6 x 9 in, 8.5 x 11 in and A4.

How it works

Each puzzle starts from a random full grid. Clues are removed in symmetric pairs, and a backtracking solver counts the solutions of the result (up to two). A puzzle is kept only if it has exactly one. A simple human-style solver then grades it as Easy, Medium or Hard.

Limits

• This is not an official Amazon or KDP product and is not affiliated with them. KDP is named only to describe a page size.
• We have not tested files from this tool in KDP's previewer. Check your own file before publishing.
• It makes interior pages only: no covers, and sudoku only. Difficulty grading is approximate.
• The PDF comes from your browser's print dialog, so exact output depends on the browser.
